Free Screenplay Reviews

One of the best ways to improve your script and rewriting is to have your screenplay reviewed and critiqued. While there are many screenplay consultants, analysts and readers out there, that service may not be in the budget for everyone. So, how do you get your screenplay read and reviewed without paying for it?

Joining a peer review site where you read scripts in exchange for posting and receiving feedback on your own script is a great way to get a free read (if you don't count the time you put in reading other screenplays). Currently, we know of three sites that offer this critiquing service:

The other option is to join or start a writing group online or in person. Alternately, Scripts By Women would love to create a blog post for you with your request to trade scripts with another screenwriter for reciprocal feedback. Just send us some basic info and we'll post it for you!
